there are two different grimm fairy tales the original series and then in 2006 they had a relaunch. I wanted people to understand they were separate titles so I added the (2006) to help separate them. I hope you are enjoying the various series.
Hi, Derekwst3, I am one of the admin's here and I was both curious and interested in what your intent is with the Reading Order page you made. Are you trying to put them in chronological order according to events in them or chronological order according to when they were released. I would like to help you if I can. It is not a project I can take on myself at this time, but if it is about release dates, I would be happy to share what information I have collected on that (in order to facilitate a project about what issues characters originally appear in). I have a very detailed database on that that really is not even remotely formatted for this and is probably larger than the entire wikia. If you are trying to figure out an actual chronology for the company (which seems more likely based off what I see), I'm not sure how much I can actually help you, but I can try.
Please let me know if this is something you are still interested in doing even if you do not have the time to work on it right now. I may not always be on the wikia, but I do try to keep track of things on here and if you or anyone else is actively trying to work to better the wikia, I am happy to help as I can. Thank you for your interest in the wikia.
A few years ago I was asking people on reddit if there was a reading order, but no one had the information. Then around October someone sent me a message asking me if I found one. I put together a list longer than this one there but thought this would be a good place for it as well. I think I have read everything from start to 2016 and have a few from 2017. I also have a busy life, reason I haven't updated it. Yes it is going to be chorological. I am thinking of editing it to divide into phases or Arcs trying to divide them closer to bigger events.
Alright. I wish I could help, but I have not paid enough attention to know for sure the chronology like that. I do have a really good handle on the release order, but not that. Let me know if there is something I can do to help such as looking at a certain issue or something. I have a great deal of them and most of their stuff in digital form thanks to backing a kickstarter a while back and trying to mostly keep up since then.
I went and rewrote it, trying to make it look nicer. I divided the series into acts breaking into a new act after a event. Act one Dream eater saga, Act Two Unleashed storyline, Act three Age of darkness. My plan for Act four is to lead into the Apocalypse storyline. Act five should lead into the Tarot story, with Act Six dealing with Camelot and other more recent books.
Gotcha. Sounds like you have a pretty clear plan. They have had a lot of crossovers which tend to be a lot of fun, because you see characters who aren't normally together in a setting that is far from normal for them.
