  • Where did you find Jungle Book Fall of the Wild 3? Do you have the description of the story?

      Loading editor
    • I found it on PreviewsWorld here: http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/937?stockItemID=DEC141841

      Here's the description. I haven't had a chance to put it up yet.

      The Wedding of King Louis is crashed by a familiar foe while Mowglii and Bomani find themselves fighting side by side for the first and possibly the last time as all of the animal armies collide on the jungle battleflied. Who will survive the Last Animal Battle and will there be an island left to fight for as Kipling's Reach explodes with lava and ash?

    • Thanks! Do you know how you managed to find the link to this? Previewsworld does not post Zenescope's February solicitations on their front page and I do not know how to find them on their website.

    • This page shows the list of all the PreviewsWorld text and word only pdfs going back into 2009. I went through their site and found a lot more than that, but unless you are trying to archive stuff like I am, you probably don't need that (if you do need that let me know, but be prepared for a lot of links).

      The dates on the files are the dates they come out and by come out it means the first full month after they are released. The physical copies come out the last Wednesday of the month. The digital seems to come out a week to a week and a half before that, usually sometime in the teens (Sunday or Monday seems common).

      Again, these are only words, no images (I'll get to those in just a moment). Well, the PDF has a few images, but not a lot and almost no cover images. I gather that digital pages with cover images do get out, but I've yet to find a reliable source of them. So to get the cover images, here's what I do:

      1) I did a Google search a while back and favorited the link to the page I found (once I realized what I could use that page for). It doesn't really matter which specific one you use, so here's a page link: http://www.previewsworld.com/Home/1/1/71/937?stockItemID=DEC141838 That is the link for Cover A of the third issue of the third The Jungle Book story arc. What you need from it is everything before the equal sign. The last part changes depending on what you want to see.

      2) If you look through this page: http://www.previewsworld.com/support/previews_docs/orderforms/archive/2014/DEC14_COF.txt (preferably using a find function of some sort, but if you want to look through it the long way, go for it. I use find on my browser and search for Zenescope since that gets me to the top of the Zenescope area. Usually I get to Zen and it's there, but sometimes it takes Zene. Of course it doesn't hurt to type the whole thing out.)

      3) Once you find the part you are looking for, find the specific issue.

      4) (I apologize if this is all stuff you know, but I don't know.) Look next to the issue info on the left and you'll see two sets of numbers. The first will be five digits long, three letters to represent the PreviewsWorld issue's month of release, followed by two numbers for the year. The second set is the specific number for that issue (at least that month).

      5) Copy these numbers down, take out the space between them and replace the number and letter set at the end of the link above with the new number. That should take you to the page with the cover of the issue you are looking for. Some don't have a cover image, but most do. Trades are more likely to be missing a cover image (at least with Zenescope) or having a place holder image than individual issues, but I've seen both. Of course if all you want is the titles and release dates, you don't need this step, but if you want the cover image or the teaser, assuming there is one (I'm looking at you Realm War 8 . . . feel free to check what I mean here if you want to know what I'm talking about), then these pages should have what you want.

      Hope that helps.

    • I couldn't resist a little more playing. This definitely isn't what I was expecting, but it's getting closer and there are collumns that collapse within rows, so it's getting closer. Maybe you can figure out how to make it work?

      This:

      {{Navbox
      |navbar = off
      |state =
      |title = '''Defunct Comic Publishers'''
      |list1 = {{Navbox with columns
        |col1 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = do
            |title = do
              |list1 = a dear
              |list2 = a female dear}}
        |col2 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = re
            |title = re
              |list1 = a drop
              |list2 = glowing sun}}
        |col3 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = me
            |title = me
              |list1 = a name
              |list2 = I call myself}}}}
      |list2 = {{Navbox with columns
        |col1 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = fa
            |title = fa
              |list1 = a long, long
              |list2 = way to run}}
        |col2 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = so
            |title = so
              |list1 = a needle
              |list2 = pulling thread}}
        |col3 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = la
            |title = la
              |list1 = a note to
              |list2 = follow so}}}}
      |list3 = {{Navbox with columns
        |col1 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = ti
            |title = ti
              |list1 = a drink with
              |list2 = jam and bread}}
        |col2 = {{Navbox with collapsible groups
          |name = do
            |title = do
              |list1 = and that brings us
              |list2 = back to do, do, do}}}}
      }}

    • I hope that's true. That's a lot of "nonexistant" pages to disappear. Could they be things like redirects getting counted in the page count and deleted pages still being counted?

  • Hello, How many wiki's do you contribute to?

      Loading editor
    • Whoops! Missed this.

      Including this one I contribute to ten wikis. I am the founder of seven of them. Those eight plus this one, I try to be on every day. Seven of them I am currently the only contributor. I want to get the pages organized and such before I start advertising about them. I hope that once I do start advertising people will come. Most of them are for Zenescope comics. Currently those are for Charmed, Sinbad, Wonderland, Neverland, Salem's Daughter, Grimm Fairy Tales with direct spin offs (The Piper, Inferno, Myths and Legends, etc.) the other one I am founder for is a Charmed fanfic wiki. The two that I occasionally contribute to are Charmed Legacy and comic wiki.

      I can tell you do a ton more then that which is pretty incredible because this much is a lot to me.

    • Okay. I made another attempt. It might be a little too busy, so let me know if I should do something different. The dimensions are clearly still not right, but a ton better. I did a screenshot of the main page on this site and I think the dimensions are closer to 660 x 360 pixels.

      That aside, what do you think? Will it work, or should I keep trying?

    • I'm perfectly all right with just copying and pasting pages from my sites (I have five for various Zenescope series). Since I wrote 90+% of them, I figure I have the write to post them whereever.

      As to images, sounds good. You can tell which ones are mine . . . they are the ones that have the character name followed by a number in png format. I have one other person who loads images and they don't have any specific format that I can see. I deal with those one's but for now, I'm going to upload a lot of images and copy some more pages for you.

  • Did you know that Al Rio passed away?

      Loading editor
    • Yes, I was aware of that. I heard about it the day it happened.

      He was the second person who has done work on the Charmed comics to die recently. The other was the original interior artist, Dave Hoover. It was sad to hear in both cases, but perhaps sadder to hear about Al Rio, because of how he died.

        Loading editor
    • I had not heard about Dave Hoover. That is very sad as well.

    • I uploaded the one cover that I had accidentally uploaded as a png file since at meant I could upload it as a jog file . . . The png files were around 13 and 15 mbs so I couldn't upload them without making them smaller which defeats the purpose of this test. It's the cover for issue 17 of Charmed, so see what you think of the difference. Is the detail enough to justify a file 5 times the size of the other ones I uploaded? Or is it not that much?
